The Brown Dog Canine Care is a new company, but its owners are by no means new to animal care.

Owner and Manager, Morgan has been professionally training and caring for dogs for over 10 years and has a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science from State University of New York at Cobleskill. Her experience ranges widely, giving her a plethora of knowledge surrounding the care of your dog. She has owned dogs her whole life, her first family dog a present for her 8th birthday and has not gone a day without owning a dog since. She raised a puppy for Guiding Eyes for the Blind during her senior year of college at SUNY Cobleskill. Morgan also worked at Guiding Eyes for the Blind in a kennel of 180 dogs- feeding and cleaning, working in the vet hospital and assisting in training the guide dogs. She also has experience working at a doggie daycare in Rutland Vermont, watching over the large pack of dogs, taking dogs on individual walks and doing training lessons with puppy owners. She also trained pet dogs full time at Sit Means Sit Dog Training Atlanta (GA) and at Upstate Canine Academy in Clifton Park NY she trained pet dogs, service dogs and aggressive/reactive dogs. In her free time she trains her personal dogs for a sport called Schutzhund with her club Acra Point Schutzhund Club. On top of all of this, she has a breeding program for working line German Shepherds called Swarlz Haus German Shepherds. Lastly, when she is not doing all of the above, she enjoys being in the woods with her dogs hiking.

Behind the scenes owner and Facilities Maintenance Manager is Pat. Pat has been training, caring for and breeding dogs for most of his life. He has professional experience working in a vet hospital for several years. Pat is also very involved in training his personal dogs and helping others train their dogs for Schutzhund and is well on his way to being a trial and conformation judge for the SV programs at the German Shepherd Dog Club of America. Pat is a full time contractor and so ensures the kennel facility is in tip top shape at all times. If something is broken, Pat will find a way to fix it.
